Gurame asam manis adalah salah satu hidangan favorit yang sering disajikan di berbagai restoran, tetapi kini Anda bisa membuatnya sendiri di rumah dengan resep yang praktis dan mudah. Bahan-bahan:

1 ekor ikan gurame (ukuran sedang, sekitar 500 gram)

1 sdt garam

1 sdt air jeruk nipis

3 sdm tepung maizena

Minyak goreng secukupnya

 

Bahan saus asam manis:

3 sdm saus tomat

1 sdm saus cabai (opsional, jika ingin pedas)

1 sdm kecap manis

2 sdm gula pasir

1 sdm cuka

200 ml air

1/2 sdt garam

1/2 sdt merica bubuk

1 sdm tepung maizena (larutkan dengan sedikit air)

1/2 buah bawang bombay (iris tipis)

2 siung bawang putih (cincang halus)

1/2 buah wortel (potong korek api)

1/2 buah paprika merah (potong dadu kecil)

1/2 buah paprika hijau (potong dadu kecil)

 

Cara Membuat:

 

Siapkan Ikan Gurame: Bersihkan ikan gurame, lalu kerat-kerat tubuhnya agar bumbu meresap. Lumuri dengan garam dan air jeruk nipis, diamkan selama 10 menit. Bilas dengan air bersih.

Goreng Ikan: Taburi ikan dengan tepung maizena secara merata, lalu goreng dalam minyak panas hingga kering dan kecokelatan. Angkat dan tiriskan.

Membuat Saus Asam Manis: Panaskan sedikit minyak, tumis bawang putih dan bawang bombay hingga harum. Masukkan wortel, paprika merah, dan paprika hijau. Aduk rata.

Masak Saus: Tambahkan saus tomat, saus cabai, kecap manis, gula pasir, cuka, garam, merica, dan air. Aduk rata dan biarkan mendidih.

Mengentalkan Saus: Tuang larutan tepung maizena sedikit demi sedikit sambil terus diaduk hingga saus mengental dan merata.

Penyajian: Tuang saus asam manis di atas ikan gurame goreng. Sajikan selagi hangat bersama nasi putih.
